2011 Legacy Run: Lights. Camera. Hachie!

Join us for the Inaugural Legacy Run!  The Legacy Run will feature a 5K course and One Mile Fun Run/Walk that will begin and end at the newly renovated Lumpkins Stadium.  The theme for this year’s event, which will take place during Homecoming Weekend, is “Lights. Camera. Hachie!”  The Hollywood themed event will feature something for everyone – from the dedicated runner to the family wishing to be active and get outdoors.  “Race Alley” will feature bounce houses, face tattoos and clowns for the children as well as various booths for adults to peruse and visit.

Cost: Early Registration will run August 1st – September 23rd.
$25 – Adult 5K and One Mile Fun Run/Walk through September 23rd.
$30 – Adult 5K and One Mile Fun Run/Walk after September 23rd and through Race Day.
$10 – Students (K-12) 5K or One Mile Fun Run/Walk
$60 – Family4Pack (Includes two adult registrations and two student registrations) 
**Additional Children are $5 with purchase of Family4Pack.  Please Note: Family4Pack price only available during Early Registration.

Children four and under are free with Purchase of Adult Registration.

“Drive-Thru” Packet Pick Up Service
The Education Foundation is pleased to offer a “Drive-Thru” packet pick up service!! 
Date: Thursday, October 6th from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m.  and Friday, October 7th from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Location:  WISD Administration Building, 411 N. Gibson Street.

Day Of Event Schedule
6:30 – 7:30 a.m. – Late Registration and Packet Pick Up
7:30 – 7:45 a.m. – Warm Up!
8:00 a.m. – Legacy Run 5K Start
8:15 a.m. – Legacy Run One Mile Fun Run/Walk Start

Awards
The Foundation will provide awards for the top male and female runner overall in the 5K as well as an award for the oldest and youngest first place 5K participant.  First Place awards will be presented to both males and females in the following age division award brackets:  19 and under; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70+.   A prize will also be awarded to the WISD campus with the most student and staff participants.

T-Shirts
All early Early Registrants are guaranteed a Race Day t-shirt.  Late registrants will receive the same while supplies last.
