Rooted in Education. Driven by Community.
For decades, Waxahachie has believed in the power of education. The Education Foundation for Waxahachie ISD exists to strengthen that belief and turn it into opportunity for every student and teacher we serve.
Our Mission
The mission of the Education Foundation for Waxahachie ISD is to enhance the quality of educational opportunities in the Waxahachie Independent School District.
Every program we support, every dollar we raise, and every partnership we build is centered around creating meaningful opportunities for students and empowering the educators who guide them.
A History of Excellence
Established in 1999, the Education Foundation for Waxahachie ISD is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization built as a simple but powerful purpose: to support and enhance education for students across our district.
Since its founding, the Foundation has remained committed to funding innovative programs that go beyond the basics and help drive student achievement. From creative classroom initiatives to advanced academic opportunities, we work to bring ideas to life that inspire learning and open doors.
Our work is guided by a dedicated board of twenty-one local leaders who generously volunteer their time, insight, and passion for education.

Why the Foundation Matters
As state funding continues to decline and student enrollment continues to grow, school districts are being asked to do more with less. While public funding and local tax dollars provide for essential classroom needs, they often do not stretch far enough to support innovative and creative educational experiences.
That is where the Foundation steps in.
We exist to bridge the gap between what is funded and what is possible. By securing additional resources, we help bring enriching opportunities into classrooms that would not otherwise exist.
Where Your Support Goes
Every dollar raised by the Education Foundation for Waxahachie ISD is invested directly into programs that benefit students and teachers across the district. These programs are designed to inspire excellence, reward achievement, and create opportunities that extend far beyond the classroom.

Leadership That Serves
The Education Foundation is led by a passionate group of community members who believe deeply in the value of education.
Board members serve three-year terms, with the opportunity to continue their service for an additional term. Together, they provide leadership, direction, and stewardship for the Foundation’s mission.
